Miracles for your skin

I stumbled upon a sharing of some tips on skincare and preparing for the big day. I thought most brides will surely benefit from such an awesome article. I asked to credit the author, who shyly declined, but gave me the permission to share anyway. If you find the article useful, do leave your comments and thanks; hopefully she gets to see how others have benefited from her sharing. Here goes:

To all BTB :

From my own experience recently:
For photoshoot and actual day: No need to buy expensive ampoules from bridal shop or make up artist.

You may wish to try the following, it works for me:

If you have acne skin, please see a skin doctor at least 3-4 months before your photoshoot to seek treatment.
A fast result is by carbon laser to lessen the skin's oil production and to soften the blocked pores.

For uneven skin tone,
About 2-3 months before wedding, go for IPL treatment to even out skin tone and to brighten your skin. Remember to apply sunblock for your face.

How to get flawless and bright skin:
Most wedding gowns will expose your shoulder, back and hands.
Do scrub , even better if the scrub contains exfoliating materials.
If your back has acne, use tea tree scrub or lightening scrub.

1 week before photoshoot:
1. For body :Scrub everyday, followed by moisturiser (normal ones will do). Remember to put sunblock on your exposed skin so you will not get darker
2. For skin : Do hydrating mask before you sleep
about 1 day before photoshoot. this will ensure your skin look radiant and the make up will last. No need ampoules. Garnier or neutrogena masks works best for me.
3. Massage your face so that when you take photos, the smile will not crack. Exercise your eyes, smiles and neck. plenty of action needed.
4. Don't drink so much water the previous night before PS, otherwise your face will look puffy and you will look fat.
5. Sleep at 10Pm (must have enought sleep)
6. Go for manicure and pedicure (french manicure will look very classy in photos)
7. Wash your hair the night before. On day of photoshoot, do not wet your hair. It is better for styling.
8. Get rid of leg hair, armpit hair. If you haven't use wax before, don't try now. If your armpit become swollen, cannot raise your hands.
9. Don't go for massage 1 or 2 days before, for fear your skin might be blue black if use too much strength
10. If you have a tummy, wear a corset or tight underwear, so your tummy will be flat .
11. Be happy, you are going to have gorgeous pictures.

If you can, no need to buy ampoules, as bridal shops and some MUA tend to sell you very expensive, around $15 per ampoule. The cost price is only about $2.

Buy your $5 whitening/ hydrating masks from Guardian. It is cheap and works better.

ACTUAL DAY PREPARATION:
More or less the same.
The mask can be more intensive, you can put masks everyday for 1 week before actual day.
This will give your face SK II worthy kind of suppleness.

Hope this posts help you girls save money and have great skin for photoshoot and actual day.
