Enjoying your wedding day
After months of tedious preparation, sometimes it's really hard for the bride and groom to really enjoy the wedding day. What if the photographer doesn't turn up? What if the make up runs before lunch? What if the groom can't wake up? What if the door bargaining stretches too long? What if the caterer got the menu mixed? The list goes on very long, I assure you.
When the day comes, just relax.
Yes, the wedding day is all about you and you can't afford to mess things up. And yes, there are countless logistical timebombs waiting to go off, just waiting to mess things up for you.
But...
The wedding day is also a day of fun, laughter, joy and most importantly of all, romance. It's about your friends and family sharing the embarkation of the journey of the next phase in your life. It's about celebrating the love between you and your life partner. It's about fun. Yes, wedding days can be, and should be fun.
I love it when the couple is having fun, stealing split seconds from the hustle and bustle of the wedding day. I love it even more when they show how much they love the photos I took of these moments which they thought no one was watching. These are great stuff that makes my job of narrating the story of their love so much easier, and in a such a powerful way.
When the day comes, remember to let lose, relax, unwind and have fun. Yes, you can have fun on your wedding day :)
